All You Need To Know About CUET UG 2025: Important Date
Candidates who wish to appear in CUET UG 2025 exam must check the expected dates of CUET UG exam in the table below. The exam is expected to be conducted in the second week of May to last week of May 2025.
CUET UG 2025 will introduce several significant changes to enhance the examination process.
Reduction in Subjects:
The number of

available for selection will decrease from 63 to 37, and candidates can now choose a maximum of five subjects instead of six.
Computer-Based Testing:
The exam will be conducted exclusively in a computer-based test (CBT) format, eliminating any paper-based options.
Standardized Exam Duration:
All subjects will have a uniform duration of 60 minutes, simplifying the timing structure.
Compulsory Questions:
All questions in the exam will be compulsory, meaning candidates cannot skip any questions.
Flexible Subject Selection:
Candidates can choose subjects outside their Class 12 curriculum, allowing for more interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
CUET Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible for CUET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. General category candidates need at least 50% marks, while SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 45%.
Subjects:
Candidates can choose from a wider range of subjects, even if they did not study them in Class 12.
Age Limit:
There is no age limit to apply for CUET UG 2025. Candidates of any age can apply as long as they meet the educational qualifications.
Nationality:
Eligible candidates include Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who arrived before January 1, 1962, and certain foreign nationals who have permanently settled in India.
