Major Changes in CUET UG 2025 

A number of changes to the CUET UG 2025 exam have been notified by UGC. The adjustments are listed below for candidates to review. 

• Reduction in Subjects: There are now 37 subjects instead of the original 63. This comprises 13 languages and 23 domain subjects. 

• Computer-Based Testing Only: The exam will no longer be administered in a hybrid format; instead, it will only be administered in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. 

• Subject Selection Flexibility: Instead of choosing six subjects, candidates can now choose up to five. They are encouraged to pursue interdisciplinary choices by having the freedom to select subjects that were not covered in their Class 12 curriculum. 

• General Aptitude Test (GAT): Admissions for the disciplines that have been abolished will be based on General Aptitude Test scores.

After completing step 1 of CUET UG Registration 2025, candidates need to log in to their account and start filling out CUET UG Application Form 2025 by providing the below-mentioned details
