CUET 2027 is expected to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by participating Central, State, Deemed, Private and other universities. As of October 2026, NTA has not officially announced the CUET 2027 notification, registration dates or examination dates.
Based on the previous year's official schedule, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 is expected to be conducted in May 2027. CUET UG 2026 was scheduled for 11–31 May 2026, initially announced as a tentative window.
The CUET 2027 latest update is related to proposed changes in the examination pattern. According to the latest information available on PW, NTA is considering a draft plan that could make CUET Exam 2027 shorter and more compact. The proposed changes include a possible single-day examination, around 35–40 questions per paper, a 40–45 minute duration, and a possible reduction in the maximum number of subjects from five to four.
However, these are proposed changes and are not final. The final decision is expected after the NTA meeting scheduled for 20 October 2026, according to the referenced update. Students should continue their preparation according to the currently available NCERT-based syllabus until NTA officially confirms any changes.

The CUET 2027 admit card release date will be announced by NTA.
Generally, candidates should download their admit card using their application credentials after NTA activates the link. Any discrepancy should be reported to NTA through the official helpdesk.
The CUET 2027 Result will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after the completion of the CUET UG 2027 examination. The result will contain the candidate's CUET scores, which participating universities will use as part of their admission process. Students should download their CUET 2027 scorecard and check the admission portals of their preferred universities for further counselling and admission updates.
The CUET 2027 cut off will vary by university, course, category, and the number of applicants competing for seats. NTA conducts CUET (UG) and declares the CUET scores, but universities decide their own admission CUET cutoffs or merit requirements based on their admission policies. Therefore, there is no single CUET 2027 cut-off applicable to all universities and courses.
Students do not need to wait for the CUET 2027 notification to begin preparation. Since the final pattern is not yet available, candidates can focus on their Class 12 and NCERT-based preparation while monitoring official updates.
