Deleted Subjects from CUET 2025 : NTA has announced major changes in CUET UG 2025 exam to simply the exam process. Candidates who are preparing for the exam must check the major changes in the exam. The total number of subjects available in CUET UG exam was 63. UGC has deleted subjects from CUET 2025 and made the total number of available subjects 37. A total number of 20 foreign language-based subjects and 6 domain-specific subjects have been removed from CUET Syllabus.

Major Changes in CUET UG 2025 Exam

UGC has made several changes in CUET UG 2025 exam. Candidates who are willing to appear in the exam must go through the changes below.

• Fewer Subjects to Choose From: The number of subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37. This includes 13 languages, 23 subjects related to specific fields, and a General Test. Students can now choose only five subjects instead of six. This change makes it easier for students to focus on what they know best.
• Online Testing Only: The CUET will be conducted entirely online. This means there will be no offline exams. This change aims to make the process faster and more efficient, with quicker results.
