Tie Breaking Policy of JMI Result 2024
The authority follows a tie-breaking policy to prepare the JMI Merit List if two or more candidates bring the same score in the exam. The policy is given below- Except for B.Arch, B.Tech, and BDS, ties are resolved based on the candidate’s date of birth. A candidate who is older in age is given a higher rank.
- For the interview-based program, candidates with high marks in the entrance exams are given priority. If the marks of the written test is same, then the criteria of date of birth is used.
- For B.Arch, B.Tech, and BDS programs, the agency administering the test determines the rank.
