However, individual universities participating in CUET may have their own minimum eligibility criteria for admission, typically ranging from 45% to 50% aggregate marks in Class 12th, depending on the course and category of the candidate. Therefore, aspirants must check the specific eligibility requirements of the universities and courses they are applying to, in addition to qualifying the CUET UG exam.
Is There a Minimum Marks Requirement in Class 12th for CUET UG?
The NTA, which conducts the CUET UG exam, does not prescribe any specific minimum percentage of marks in Class 12th as a universal eligibility criterion. Any student who has passed or is appearing in the Class 12th examination in the current academic year is eligible to appear for the CUET UG exam.
However, while CUET UG itself does not impose a marks restriction, the participating universities and individual programs may have their own specific eligibility criteria, including minimum marks in Class 12th.
