NPU Admission Process 2024

1. Visit the official website of Nilamber Pitamber University.
2. Click on the "Admission" tab.
3. Click on the "Apply Online" link.
4. Register yourself by creating an account.
5. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
6. Pay the application fee.
7. Submit the application form.

• Attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of all previous examinations.

NPU admission 2024 (BDS And MDS)

Eligibility Criteria  For NPU admission 2024 (BDS)

• They must have passed the class 12 examination from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
• They must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile of their class.
• They must have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Eligibility Criteria  For NPU admission 2024 (MDS)

• They must have passed the BDS examination from a recognized dental college or university.
• They must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
• They must have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) conducted by the NBE.

Additional Eligibility Criteria For NPU admission 2024

• Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders are eligible to apply for admission to NSUT.
• Foreign nationals are also eligible to apply for admission to NSUT, but they must have a valid student visa and must fulfill all the other eligibility criteria.
• Candidates must be medically fit to pursue the BDS or MDS program.

Selection Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (BDS)

• Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Scored a valid NEET score.

1. All eligible candidates are ranked based on their NEET scores.
2. The top-ranked candidates are offered admission to the BDS program, subject to the availability of seats.
3. Reserved seats are filled according to the reservation policy of the Government of India.

Selection Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (MDS)

• Passed BDS with a permanent registration from the State Dental Council with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories).
• Scored a valid NEET MDS score.

1. All eligible candidates are ranked based on their NEET MDS scores.
2. The top-ranked candidates are offered admission to the MDS program, subject to the availability of seats.
3. Reserved seats are filled according to the reservation policy of the Government of India.

NPU admission 2024 (B.Tech And M.Tech)

Eligibility Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (B. Tech)

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
• Secured a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biotechnology (65% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Be among the top 20 percentile in the state merit list of Class 12 (or equivalent) examination conducted by the respective state board (relaxed to top 40 percentile for SC/ST candidates).

Eligibility Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (M. Tech)

• Passed B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Secured a valid GATE score for the relevant discipline.

• NSUT reserves 15% of seats for SC candidates, 7.5% of seats for ST candidates, and 27% of seats for OBC candidates (non-creamy layer) in all its programs.
• NSUT also offers admission to foreign nationals through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) and ICCR.

Selection Criteria  For NPU admission 2024 (B. Tech)

1. Candidates must register for JEE Main and appear for the exam.
2. After the results of JEE Main are declared, candidates must apply for counseling through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
3. During counseling, candidates will be allotted seats to various engineering colleges based on their JEE Main scores and other factors such as category, preferences, etc.

Selection Criteria  For NPU admission 2024 (M. Tech)

1. Candidates must register for PGAT and appear for the exam.
2. After the results of PGAT are declared, candidates must apply for counseling through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).
3. During counseling, candidates will be allotted seats to various engineering colleges based on their PGAT scores and other factors such as category, preferences, etc.

• Candidates must apply for lateral entry admission to NPU on the official website.
• The selection of candidates for lateral entry is done based on their merit in the qualifying examination.
• A merit list is prepared and candidates are selected in order of merit.

NPU admission 2024 (LLB)

Eligibility Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (LLB)

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) will be given a relaxation of 5% marks.

• Candidates must have qualified the JEE Law entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• The JEE Law exam is a national-level entrance exam for admission to law courses offered by participating institutes.

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates must be between the ages of 17 and 22 years on the date of admission.
• Reserved category candidates must produce a valid caste certificate from the competent authority.
• PwD candidates must produce a valid disability certificate from the competent authority.

• SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required for admission.
• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required for admission.
• Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Kashmiri Migrants (NKM) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required for admission.

Selection Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (LLB)

• Entrance Exam: Candidates will have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), which is a national-level entrance exam for admission to law programs in India. The CLAT exam is conducted by the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU).
• Academic Performance: The academic performance of the candidate for their undergraduate degree will also be considered. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the NPU LLB program is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate score of at least 50%.
• Personal Interview: Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview. The personal interview will be conducted by a panel of faculty members.

• Educational qualification For NPU admission: Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the required subjects.
• Required subjects For NPU admission : The required subjects for each program are as follows:
  • BA (Hons) Economics : English, Mathematics, and Economics
  • B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics: English, Mathematics, and Physics
  • B.Com (Hons): English, Mathematics, and Accountancy

Selection Criteria For NPU admission 2024 (BA, B.Sc, B.Com And BEd)

• The university will prepare a merit list of all eligible candidates based on their marks in the qualifying exam.
• Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their rank in the merit list.
• Candidates will be called for counseling to confirm their admission and choose their preferred college and course.

NPU admission 2024 (MA. M.Com, M.Sc, MCA  And MBA)

Eligibility Criteria For NPU admission 2024

MA

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Valid entrance test score (e.g., CUET PG).

M.Com

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Valid entrance test score (e.g., CUET PG).

M.Sc

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Valid entrance test score (e.g., CUET PG).

MCA

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Valid entrance test score (e.g., NIMCET).

MBA

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Valid entrance test score (e.g., CAT).

• Candidates who have completed their qualifying degree from a foreign university must have their degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, but they must submit their final year marksheet before the commencement of the academic session.

Selection Criteria For NPU admission 2024

1. Application Form: Candidates must submit the online application form available on the NPU website. The application form must be accompanied by the required documents and fees.
