How to Find Prime Numbers Upto 100?

Follow these steps to find the list of  prime numbers up to 100:

Step 1: Write down all the numbers from 2 to 100 in a list or a table. The number 1 is not included because it is not a prime number.

Step 2: Start with the number 2. It is the first and smallest prime number. Now, go through the list and cross out every multiple of 2 (such as 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, etc.) because they are divisible by numbers other than 1 and themselves.

Step 3: Move to the next number that is not crossed out. This will be 3. Cross out all multiples of 3 (such as 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and so on) from the list.

Step 4: Continue the process with the next remaining number, which is 5. Cross out all multiples of 5 (such as 10, 15, 20, 25, etc.).

Step 5: Next, go to 7. Cross out all multiples of 7 (like 14, 21, 28, 35, etc.).

Step 6: Repeat this process for the next numbers in the list. You only need to check prime numbers up to 10, because 10 is the square root of 100. After crossing out all their multiples, the remaining numbers will automatically be prime.

An even prime number is a prime number that is also even. Among all the numbers from 1 to 100, there is only one even prime number, which is 2. This is because 2 has exactly two factors: 1 and 2, and it is divisible by only these two numbers.
