
Government Achieves Successful Trial of Expendable Aerial Target 'Abhyas' in Flight: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has achieved a significant milestone with the successful completion of six consecutive developmental trials of the High-Speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) 'Abhyas'. These trials, conducted at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha on June 27, 2024, showcased improved booster configurations, marking a total of 10 successful developmental trials that validate the system's reliability.
