Territorial Army Selection Stages

Shortlisted Candidates after qualifying the CBT (Computer-Based Test) are invited to participate in the SSB round. Multiple activities are aligned in the 5 days of Territorial Army SSB rounds. It is to test the analytical skills and knowledge of candidates in handling particular situations. SSB is conducted by the army authority in multiple locations across India. 

Document Verification 

The Document Verification round comes after the completion of the SSB round for qualified candidates. Territorial Army Authority asks candidates to submit the original documents, including age limit, educational qualification, and birth proof document, in the verification process. Then, a complete verification is conducted to check the authenticity of the documents provided by the candidate. 

Medical Examination 

Medical Examination is the last round in the Territorial Army Selection Process. Speaking, Hearing, and Vision tests are conducted on the candidates. This is to check whether any candidate interested in joining the Territorial Army is medically fit or not. The medical test results are announced, declaring the candidate FIT or UNFIT by the authority.

Newly Joined Officials in the Territorial Army get the position of Lieutenant. Territorial Army Lieutenant gets a monthly salary package between Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500.
