General Awareness

Questions will assess the awareness of the environment and its impact on society. Includes current events and scientific observations expected of an educated person. Topics: History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Scientific Research, India and its neighbouring countries.

Quantitative Aptitude

Questions to test number sense and computation skills. Topics: Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, number relationships, percentages, ratio & proportion, square roots, averages, interest, profit & loss, discount, partnership, mixture & allegation, time and distance, time & work, basic algebra, graphs of linear equations, geometry including triangles, circles, polygons, prisms, cones, cylinders, spheres, pyramids. Also includes trigonometry, standard identities, height & distances, and data interpretation (histogram, frequency polygon, bar diagram, pie chart).

English Language

Tests understanding of correct English, basic comprehension, and writing ability.

Indian Navy Civilian Exam Pattern 2025 features subjects, total questions, marks, and time.

  • Marks: 100 marks

  • Time: 90 minutes

  • 20 minutes of compensatory time are provided for the students using the scribe in the Computer-Based Test.

 Indian Navy Civilian Marking Scheme 

Indian Navy Civilian Marking Scheme covers the total marks, correct answers, and incorrect marks provided for the Computer-Based Test. A total of four subjects are in the online test of 25 marks each weightage. The Total Marks are 100 marks for the Online Test. In the Indian Navy Civilian Exam, students are awarded 1 mark for the correct answer. 

Resolution of Tie In Indian Navy Civilian Exam 2025

One or more candidates secure the same marks in the Indian Navy Civilian Exam. The authority provided conditions to prepare the Indian Navy Civilian Written Test Merit List. They can resolve the tie situation. 

  • Older Candidates get a higher preference in the merit list in case of the same marks. 

  • Any two candidates have the same date of birth, then alphabetical order of the names.
