 List of Best CEED Colleges in India 2026:  The CEED colleges offer admission at postgraduate and doctoral levels under various design courses. There are in total 11 participating institutes of CEED 2026 and have an intake of more than 300 to 350 total seats for the M.Des program . For the CEED participating colleges, IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process (counseling), unlike UCEED. Once the CEED results are declared, candidates have to apply directly to the respective colleges on their official admission portal. The candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their performance in the CEED exam, personal interview, and portfolio review. The CEED participating colleges will then prepare a merit list and shortlist candidates for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for CEED 2026 Colleges in India

• Age Limit: There is no age limit to take the CEED exam. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can take the exam multiple times.
• Qualification: Candidates must have completed their degree/diploma/postgraduate degree program after class 12th by 1st July 2025. The design program must be of at least 3 years. Candidates appearing for the final examination of such program are also eligible to appear for the exam. Candidates who have completed their GDA Arts Diploma Program (10+5) level by July 2025, are also eligible for the exam.
• CEED Qualification: Candidates must have obtained valid results and a merit rank in the CEED 2025 exam.

CEED Colleges in India 2026: Application Process

• Candidates who have obtained valid merit rank in the CEED exam, have to apply on the official admission portal of the respective participating college.
• The institute will shortlist candidates for an online interview based on the application received.
• The candidates are required to submit their portfolio.
• After submitting the portfolio, candidates have to attend the online interview.
• The institute will publish the list of selected candidates on its official portal.
• The shortlisted candidates have to pay the admission fee for the M.Des course and complete the remaining admission formalities.
