NATA Application Form 2024

The conducting authority activated the online application form link for NATA 2024 on March 1 for session I at its official portal @nata.in. Candidates who want to pursue undergraduate level B.Arch programs from top institutions must register for the examination by visiting the official site.

Candidates need to enter all the required details like personal information, mobile number, educational qualification, address, etc. In order to complete the application form, candidates need to pay the application fees via online mode. Steps to Fill NATA Application Form 2024

Candidates need to follow the necessary instructions listed in this section to complete the application process successfully for NATA 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NATA 2024 at www.nata.in.

Step 2: Click the " NATA 2024 Registration " link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your name, gender, valid email ID, mobile number, security question and date of birth and set the password (the password should contain 8 letters including 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 symbol and 1 number like ABCd123#)

Step 4: You will receive the registration number and login details on your registered mobile number/email.

Step 5: Login and fill out the application form by entering personal details, address, educational qualification, choice of center, etc.

Step 6 : Upload the scanned copies of the required documents like photograph and signature in the prescribed specification.

NATA Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria required to fill out the online application form for the entrance test. The conducting authority will allow only eligible applicants to take the exam.   • Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board/Institute.
  • Marks: Candidates must secure 50% marks aggregate in 10+2, additionally 50% marks in Mathematics subject to be eligible for the test.
  • Age Limit: There is no restriction of age limit to appear for NATA. Candidates fulfilling the other requirements may take the test if they fall in any age group.

NATA Exam Pattern 2024

NATA Syllabus 2024

PART-A Drawing and Composition Test

This is a 90 minutes examination consisting of 80 Marks Test where the candidate has to attempt three questions. The content of the PART A Test is as follows:

  • A1 - Composition and Color-25 Marks: Creating suitable compositions for various situations and coloring them appropriately. Re-arranging various shapes in a visually appealing manner and coloring them suitably.
  • A2 - Sketching & Composition (Black and White)-25 Marks: Ability to draw, visualize, depict a situation, involving buildings / its components, people, environment, products with an understanding of scale, proportions, textures, shades and shadow etc.
  • A3 - 3D Composition-30 Marks: Creating interesting 3D composition for the given situation using the provided kit.

PART-B

This is an online test for 90 minutes duration consisting 120 marks. It shall have two types of Questions viz., B1 – 30 Questions of 2 Marks and B2 – 15 Questions of 4 Marks from the following topics:

  • Visual Reasoning Ability to understand and reconstruct 2D and 3D composition, knowledge about its composition and technical concepts.
  • Logical Derivation Ability to decode a situation, composition, context and generate meaning. Understanding the minute information hidden in a particular situation and drawing conclusions.
  • G.K., Architecture & Design General awareness of architecture and design, current issues, recent episodes etc., Knowledge about important buildings, historical progression, innovation in materials and construction technology.
  • Language Interpretation Ability to correctly & logically generate meaning of words, sentences, and understand English grammar.
  • Design Sensitivity Ability to observe, record and analyze people, space, products, environment. Critical thinking, reasoning and ability to identify subtle communications.
  • Design Thinking Ability to understand semantics, metaphors, problem identification and definition, analysis of a given situation.
  • Numerical Ability Basic Mathematics and its association with creative thinking. To unfold a space with the use of geometry.

NATA Cut Off 2024

Along with the result, the authorities will announce the cut off marks for all the categories. The cut off marks refers to the minimum score needed to achieve by candidates to pass the examination. The admission to B.Arch program will be offered based on the marks obtained in the test.

NATA B.Arch Counseling 2024

The admission to B.Arch course is offered by online admission counseling made by the institution. There is no separate counseling organized for offering admission to Architecture Courses via NATA Score. Candidates need to register online to their preferred institution with NATA score details.
