UCEED Syllabus 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, will release the UCEED syllabus 2026 on its official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in. There are fewer chances that the exam authorities will revise the UCEED syllabus for 2026. Based on the previous years’ UCEED syllabus, the topics included are visualization, spatial reasoning, observation and design sensitivity, environment and society, analytical and logical reasoning, language, and creativity. 

Having a thorough understanding of the syllabus helps candidates to prioritize topics and align their preparation accordingly. 

UCEED 2026 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at prestigious institutes. The exam will be held in online mode at the allotted UCEED exam centers.

UCEED Topic-Wise Syllabus 2026 for Part A & B

IIT Bombay has yet to announce the UCEED syllabus 2026. Once it is announced officially, we will update it accordingly. Based on the previous years’ exam pattern, UCEED 2026 will be divided into two parts, i.e., Part A and Part B. Part A evaluates abilities in visualization, spatial reasoning, practical and scientific knowledge, observation and design sensitivity, environment and society, analytical and logical reasoning, language, and creativity. Part B focuses on drawing and design aptitude, testing candidates’ ability to sketch, compose, and respond creatively to design problems. The syllabus includes topics that evaluate both reactive and analytical thinking of the candidates.

• Start by reviewing the UCEED syllabus and important topics for Parts A and B. Once the official syllabus is released, go through it. 
• Allocate specific time slots for each subject area, balancing creative practice with theory and regular revision. 
• Solve previous years’ UCEED question papers and take mock tests to become familiar with question types, improve time management. Identify your strengths and weaknesses and work on them. 
• Study design concepts and theories, color strokes, and color patterns. Enhance your ability to visualize, sketch, and observe details in everyday life. 
• Read newspapers, design magazines, and follow current trends in art, design, and technology to tackle GK and awareness questions. 
• Practice freehand sketching, figure drawing, and creative problem-solving. Focus on line quality, composition, and realistic representation.
