UCEED Colleges

List of UCEED colleges in India for 2025 includes both participating IITs and several result-sharing institutes that accept UCEED scores for BDes admissions. The seven main participating institutes are IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Indore. Admission to BDes courses in these colleges follows a centralized counselling process based solely on UCEED ranks. In addition, over 20 result-sharing institutes, including BITS Design School, FLAME University, Srishti Manipal, and others, consider UCEED scores for their design programs. Candidates should check each institute’s admission policies and deadlines, as procedures may vary between participating and result-sharing colleges.


UCEED Participating Colleges in India 2025

There are a total of 7 participating colleges under UCEED 2025. The colleges offer B.Des courses and have a total seat intake of 245 seats. IIT Roorkee was newly added to the list in the previous edition of the exam. The colleges grant admission based on the candidate's performance in the UCEED 2025 exam and merit ranks. UCEED Colleges 2025 Result-Sharing Institutes

The result-sharing institutes will offer limited seats in their UG program for admission based on UCEED 2025 merit ranks, unlike the participating UCEED institutes that only accept UCEED score card for admission. The remaining seats in these institutes may be filled based on the scores of other entrance exams. UCEED 2025 Result-Sharing Institutes will conduct their own counseling process at the institute level and will not participate in the Joint Seat Allotment Process conducted by IIT Bombay. According to IIT Bombay, 42 institutes have agreed to be part of the UCEED 2025 Result-Sharing Institutes. Once the admission process gets underway, the list of UCEED 2025 Result-Sharing Institutes will be notified.

 UCEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The UCEED 2025 eligibility Criteria are as follows.
  • Age Limit: Candidates belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category must be born on or after 1st October 1999, while the SC, ST, or PwD category candidates need to have been born on or after 1st October 1993.
  • UCEED 2025 Qualification: Candidates must have obtained valid results and a merit rank in the UCEED 2025 exam.
  • Qualifying Examination: Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent exams in all five subjects in 2023 or 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for admission.

UCEED 2025 Joint Seat Allocation Process

The counseling for the UCEED participating colleges will be conducted by IIT Bombay online as a Joint Seat Allotment process. Candidates who have obtained a valid merit rank in the UCEED 2025 exam are eligible to participate in the counseling process. The seat allotment process is held in three rounds. The seat acceptance fee for the GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category is INR 60,000/- while for the SC/ST/PwD candidates, it is INR 15,000/- The seat allotment is based on the following major factors.
