UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2025 - Written Exam

The Written Examination is the initial phase of the CAPF AC Selection Process 2025. It comprises two papers:

1. Paper I (Objective) – Tests logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness.
2. Paper II (Descriptive) – Focuses on essay writing, comprehension, and precise communication skills.

Marking Scheme for Paper I:

• Correct Answer: +2 Marks
• Incorrect Answer: -1/3 Marks

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

UPSC CAPF AC Physical Efficiency Test 2025

After passing the initial step, which is the written examination, aspirants will be called out for the Physical Efficiency Test. The UPSC CAPF AC Exam is meant to not only assess an aspirant's mental ability but also their physical strength. The physical test of the CAPF AC selection process is different for male and female aspirants, as mentioned below. Aspirants who pass the physical test will be subjected to a medical checkup. In order to continue with the CAPF AC selection process, the aspirant must pass both the PET and medical evaluations.

Note:

1. Female aspirants who are found to be pregnant during the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be disqualified.

Post-LASIK Surgery Standards:

Here are the specific requirements for candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery:

•  Age: 18-35 years
• Pre LASIK Error: 6 D
• Axial Length: 21-26 mm
• Corneal Thickness: 425 microns
• Post-operative Refractive Flap Stability Period: 6 months (post-operative period)
• UPSC CAPF AC Medical Additional Information:
  • The Ministry of Home Affairs will appoint a Nodal Authority to oversee the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests conducted at various locations following the CAPF AC written examination 2025 results.
  • A woman candidate found to be pregnant of 12 weeks standing or over, as a result of a test, shall be declared temporarily unfit, and her appointment held in abeyance until the confinement is over. Refer to the linked article for details on the CAPF Cut Off.

DAF for the Final Round of CAPF AC Selection Process 2025

Aspirants will be required to fill out the Detailed Application Form, or DAF, to proceed further in the final round of the UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2025 after clearing the CAPF AC Medical test. In DAF, aspirants will be asked to choose their preferred force and other specifics. This is an important piece of documentation that, if not filled out accurately, may cause inconvenience in proceeding to the interview round of the CAPF AC selection process.

Documents Required for UPSC CAPF DAF

Here is the list of documents required while filling out the DAF:

• Age certificate
• Educational qualification certificates
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Undertaking, duly signed by the candidate, for non-creamy layer OBC category relaxation
• Proforma attached to the Comprehensive Application Form, completed and signed by the candidate for OBC relief
• Certificate supporting the age concession claim (if applicable)
• Discharge certificate for ex-servicemen.

UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2025 Interview

An interview or personality test is the final step in the CAPF AC selection process 2025. Aspirants who pass both the written and physical tests will be considered for this level, which will carry a total of 150 marks.

• It is important to note that those aspirants will also be invited for the last round of the CAPF AC selection process 2025 who have been declared medically unfit but have appealed to the Appellate Authority and are given the opportunity to appear before the "Review Medical Board".
• The CAPF AC selection process includes an interview with a panel consisting of a serving CAPF member as chairperson as well as experienced professors and specialists.
