Error in JEE Main Percentile Calculation: NTA announced the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 result on February 13, 2024, on its official website. Candidates can check their JEE Main 2024 score on the official website or through the link provided below.
Some of the candidates are alleging that there is an error in JEE Main percentile calculation and JEE Main 2024 result. Many of the candidates are claiming that they got lower marks than what they were expecting. However, the NTA has dismissed these allegations, claiming that the students got marks based on their performance and that there is no error in JEE Main percentile calculation.NTA Clarifies Regarding Error in JEE Main Percentile Calculation
According to the statement by NTA regarding error in JEE Main Percentile calculation, the officials said ‘There were a few cases where students had raised questions against the answer key and we corrected it wherever necessary, and even told the students. Other than that, we are sticking by our findings, and we promise everyone there is no mistake in it. Not all students perform the same in every shift, and we have given out the marks as per their performance’.Steps To Check JEE Main 2024 Result
- Visit the official website for JEE Main 2024, which is jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Look for the "Latest News" section on the homepage and click on it.
- Find the link for "JEE Main 2024 session 1 scorecard click here to download" and click on it.
- A login page will pop up.
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and the password.
- After that, click the "Submit" button.
- Your JEE Main 2024 session 1 scorecard should now appear on the screen.
- If everything appears good, go ahead, and download the scorecard.
JEE Main 2024 Percentile Calculation Formula
The exam results for every session will be provided in the following format: Raw Scores Percentile scores are calculated individually for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry), as well as the total. The following 4 Percentiles will be calculated for each candidate in the Session: Let T1, M1, P1, C1 be the raw scores in Total, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry of a candidate and TIP, MIP, PIP, CIP be the Percentile Scores of Total, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry of that candidate.
