Candidates who have obtained a Master's Degree in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, along with a B.Ed. degree in any discipline from any university in Kerala, or any other recognized university equivalent to it, are eligible to apply for the SET January 2025 examination. There are, however, certain exceptions to this eligibility, which are detailed in the Kerala SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria Page.Kerala SET 2025 Exam Pattern
The Kerala SET 2025 Exam Pattern will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2, which will be conducted in offline mode. Each paper has 120 questions to be answered within 120 minutes. The marking scheme is 1 mark for each correct answer, except for the Mathematics and Statistics section in Paper 2, which carries 1.5 marks per correct answer. There is no negative marking for any incorrect answers.Kerala SET 2025 Syllabus
The Kerala SET January 2025 Syllabus is based on the core areas in the subjects' syllabus followed by universities in Kerala. The approved syllabus for the subjects is available on the LBS Centre's official website. The test consists of two papers: Paper I, which is common for all candidates, consists of two parts - General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching.
