TS SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the Telangana SET 2024, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria as outlined in the official notification. Below are the detailed Educational Qualification requirements and Age limit:- General Category: Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree. This includes degrees such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA, and M.Tech (CSE & IT only).
- Reserved Categories (BC, SC, ST, PwD): Candidates belonging to Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories must have scored at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree.
- Ph.D. Holders: Ph.D. holders whose Master’s degree was completed by September 19, 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of results), are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. This means they need to have secured at least 50% marks.
- Candidates Appearing for Master’s Degree: Candidates who are currently pursuing their Master’s Degree, have appeared for their final year Master’s Degree examination and are awaiting results, or whose qualifying examinations have been delayed are also eligible to apply for the Telangana SET 2024.
- Age Limit: There is no specified age limit for candidates to appear for the TG SET 2024. Candidates must simply meet the educational qualification requirements to be eligible for the examination.
TG SET 2024 Exam Pattern
The Telangana SET 2024 exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 consists of 50 questions, carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
