
The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the country's highest management organization. AIMA was set up to advance the cause of the management profession in India, a non-profit, non-lobbying organization. It works closely with industry, government, academia, and students.
AIMA works through its 67 local management associations, with a membership base of more than 38,000 individuals and around 6,000 corporations and institutions. AIMA was set up in 1957. Moreover, 600 business schools in India employ the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), administered by AIMA. It also participates in national forums and organizations and bestows annual awards.

Honorary Fellow:
The Council will award these honorary fellowships to the most deserving managers in various fields in India and abroad without requiring them to pay a subscription fee. AIMA Council must vote with at least a two-thirds majority to bestow this membership.
Honorary Life Fellow:
On leaving office, the President of AIMA will receive the honorary title of "Honorary Life Fellow" of AIMA. This title is in appreciation of their remarkable services.
Member Grade:
This grade applies to management professionals or their equivalents. For this, candidates should meet the following requirements:
The applicant must be at least 21 years old.
Student Grade:
Students taking a professional course in management from accredited or reputable schools are eligible for this grade. This membership may be raised to a higher grade. However, candidates should meet the following requirements:
