The Full Form of CRP RRB is  Common Recruitment Process (CRP) into Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Every year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) holds the IBPS RRB Test to select candidates for the positions of IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer Cadre in the nation's numerous Regional Rural Banks. IBPS conducts the IBPS RRB Test each year to select candidates for positions in the Assistant and Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) located around the nation.

IBPS RRB 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship

• either an Indian citizen or a Nepalese subject
• a citizen of Bhutan
• a Tibetan Refugee who entered India before to January 1, 1962 with the purpose to settle there permanently
• a person of Indian descent who has moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently there, provided that the candidate falls under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) above and is a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Indian government.

Age Limit 

• Candidates for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) must be between the ages of 18 and 28, or born between June 2, 1994, and June 1, 2004, respectively (both dates inclusive).
• Candidates for Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager) must be at least 18 years old and under 30 years old, or born between June 3, 1992, and June 30, 2004. (both dates inclusive).
• Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1990 and later than 31.05.2001 for Officer Scale-II (Manager) positions (both dates inclusive).
• Candidates for the Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) position must be at least 21 years old and under 40, which means they cannot have been born before June 3, 1982, or after May 31, 2001. (both dates inclusive).

Linguistic ability

To be qualified for an interview, applicants for the position of Office Assistant at any given RRB must be fluent in the language of the State or UT where the RRB is located.

• Educational Qualification
• For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any discipline, or its equivalent

1. Language proficiency as required by the participating RRB/s
2. Favorable working familiarity with computers

For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

A bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or an equivalent qualification Candidates with degrees in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, agricultural marketing and cooperation, information technology, management, law, economics, or accountancy will be given preference; they must also possess the following qualifications:

1. be proficient in the local language as required by the participating RRB/s
2. be proficient in the local language
3. be willing to learn computer skills.

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

A minimum of 50% overall on a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited university or its equivalent is required. Candidates with degrees in accounting, banking, finance, marketing, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, information technology, management, law, economics, and accountancy will be given preference.

Officer of Information Technology

Bachelor's degree in electronics, communication, computer science, or a related field from an accredited university

with a minimum of 50% in the overall grade in information technology or its equivalent. Desirable:

ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc. certificates

Agricultural Officer

A bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in agriculture, horticulture, dairy, animal husbandry, veterinary science, forestry, pisciculture, or a related field.

Law Officer

A minimum of 50% overall on a Law Officer Degree from an accredited university in the subject of law is required.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

A minimum of 50% overall on a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited university or its equivalent is required. Candidates with degrees or diplomas in banking, finance, marketing, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, information technology, management, law, economics, and accounting will be given preference.

IBPS RRB 2023 Exam Pattern

Clerk Exam

The selection process for the position of Office Assistant is considerably different from the selection process for the position of Officer Grade. The exam for IBPS RRB Assistant 2023 will be split into two phases:

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam

To choose candidates for the position of office assistant, there won't be any interviews. Selection will be based solely on the candidate's performance in the Main Examination.

Officer Exam

Three phases of the IBPS RRB Officer 2023 exam will be held:

• Interview Procedure
• Preliminary Exam
• Main Exam
