Further, with this teacher qualification, a teacher gets authorized to instruct and grade students in preschools and primary or secondary schools and any other nations, institutions, subject areas, or curricula where such authorization is necessary.

The process varies from nation to nation. Further, many approving bodies demand student teaching before granting teacher certification. Moreover, it is one of the several academic and professional degrees that permits a person to become a registered teacher. 

Further, there are some example of teaching qualifications in various jurisdictions like the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), the Level 6 Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning (PGCTL), the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET), the Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Bachelor of Education.

What is a CT Course?

CT means Certificate of Teaching in the CT (D El. Ed) Course. CT course is a course by the government for primary school teachers. In addition, CT course is a very necessary course for a person who wishes to be a primary school teacher.

CT Course Eligibility

The candidate must have passed +2 with the required mark percentage. Further, the cast category certificate is, often used to see the mark percentage for the CT course. Moreover, the requirement of mark percentage is different for different categories.  

The mark percentage required for the General category is 50% and the mark percentage required for the OBC category is 50%. Further, and for the SC, ST, and reserve categories, the mark percentage needed is 45%.

Moreover, the person is also required to sit for and qualify for the CT entrance exam to enroll in a CT Course other than the eligibility criteria. For qualifying for a CT entrance exam, there are a few important points that should be, often, considered by a candidate in his/her preparation.

Institutes Offering CT Courses

There are a few private organizations that offer teacher certifications, like the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the United States and the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) in India. Further, it is the governments and higher education institutions that provide teacher certifications the majority of the time.

Moreover, there also exists a CT course called CT (D. El. Ed). It is a course name in the School and Mass Education of Government and a person who undertakes a CT course is eligible to become a primary school teacher.

A primary teacher must have completed CT (D. El. Ed) and he/she is eligible to be a Primary Teacher Job once a candidate has completed this course. 

The CT test provides professionals with the essential training to operate in a school environment. Further, it is the rules or code of conduct and certification for instructors. So, the certification is necessary since it contains a list of requirements that instructors must adhere to when planning and executing classes. Further, the Certificate of completion of the course gets provided by the District Board.     

How To Qualify CT Entrance Exam

There is a lot of competition in present times as far as competitive exams are, in general, considered. Thus, it becomes important for a candidate to have a proper schedule.

Firstly, the candidate must clear all his/her concepts of the elementary Mathematics and science of class three to class tenth. After clearing all the concepts of Mathematics and science, the candidate must focus on logical reasoning.

  • Logical Reasoning
  • Numeric symbol series
  • Puzzles and arrangement

While maintaining the practice of mathematics and aptitude, the candidate should focus on General Knowledge and Current affair.  Further, the current affairs of the present and the previous year should be, usually, given importance for preparing for the CT course.

  • Current Affairs
  • Geography,
  • Awards
  • Polity
  • Books and their authors
  • Indian Art and Culture.

The candidate is, strictly, advised to maintain an effective and realistic schedule. Further, the candidate must not forget to solve the previous year’s question papers of the past few years. He/she must revise the syllabus.

Most importantly, a candidate must not forget to revise all the sections of the exam and continue reading current affairs. In addition, the candidate should not disregard any section of the exam as it could lower the possibility of your selection. Thus, sincerely preparing for the exam will help one crack the test easily.
