Importance of DAF

DAF is used to frame interview questions: Candidates preparing for the interview round must fill out their DAF very carefully. The board members frame questions based on the details given by the candidate in their DAF. Here are some examples:

  1. Questions about your hobbies and their backgrounds.
  2. Questions about your permanent and communication address
  3. any prior job experience.
  4. how many attempts you have given, etc.

You get to know yourself better: Candidates provide accurate information about their personal history and family background, which helps them understand themselves better. Students learn about their hobbies, aspirations, and the type of service they want to provide to the nation while filling out the DAF.

Board members can easily judge you: Thousands of students are interviewed by board members. Therefore, the only means to know about the candidate and his/her background is DAF. Candidates must keep it simplified and provide an honest answer to all the questions in the DAF.

Justice to the post: DAF demands you to fill the preference order of the services. The Board will decide the marks after the interview round. Board members will scrutinize the true potential of the candidate for the selected service of his/her choice.
