About ETT

The ETT refers to Elementary Teacher Training. Candidates get a diploma degree in the field of teaching in an elementary school. The duration of the ETT is 2 years. Candidates have to clear four semesters to get the degree. Nevertheless, candidates can apply after completing the 12th or the equivalent. In this course, candidates teach the Fundamental principle and theories of education, information management, and other disciplinary courses to the students. This training program also instructs how to teach students between ages 4 and 12. Elementary teacher training trains the candidates in such a way that it helps students in their overall development. This course is provided by all the private as well as government institutions too. The fee of the course varies according to the institution. The fee structure lies between 4000- 2,00,000.

ETT - Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have to fulfil the eligibility criteria for pursuing this course: 

1. The candidate must complete 12th or equivalent from a recognized board in any stream. With at least 50% marks in their board.
2. Additionally, after passing an International Diploma and having results of 12th can also apply for the same.
3. Also, the students about to complete their 12th can apply for the entrance too.

 ETT- Entrance Exam

• Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) - This is a national-level entrance exam conducted for selecting potential teachers for the teaching profession. This examination is conducted twice a year. The mode of the examination is always offline. The conducting body of this examination is the Central Board of Secondary education.
• Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) - The Central and State Governments conduct this examination for primary and secondary school teachers. This examination is conducted in two phases. Level 1 leads to primary school teachers whereas level 2 is for secondary school teachers. This examination is conducted once a year. The mode of the examination is Offline.
• D.El.Ed. Entrance Exam - D.El.Ed stands for Diploma in Elementary Education Entrance examination. The State boards conduct this exam. This exam is conducted once a year. The mode of examination is off
