For the purpose of hiring Junior Hindi Translators and Senior Hindi Translators for various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations within the Indian Government, the Staff Selection Commission holds an open competitive examination.

The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has released the SSC JHT final results. 441 individuals have been chosen for appointments in total. Cut-off markings have also been made public along with the outcome. According to the posting allocation and the candidates' performance in Papers I and II of the exam, candidates have been appointed.

New Changes Implemented in JHT 

The SSC had already published a notification announcing that mission mode recruitment will be used. The relevant ministries/departments will check the candidates' documentation. The document verification would be carried out by the regional/sub-regional offices, according to the SSC JHT announcement. Candidates will be chosen in the end depending on how well they performed in papers 1 and 2 and their options for various positions and Ministries/Departments. The final candidates' assigned departments or organizations will verify the candidates' supporting documentation.

JHT 2023 Application Form

To hire candidates for Junior Hindi Translators or Junior Translators in various departments and ministries within the Government of India, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) administers the SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator) exam. For a variety of positions, including Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak, recruiting is conducted.

The SSC JHT 2023 Application Form may be done electronically. Aspirants must enroll on the SSC website before submitting their first application. One-time registration and the online application form are the two components of the SSC JHT Application Form.

The following are the steps to apply for the SSC JHT exam:

  1. Visit the SSC's official website and select "Register Now" from the login area.
  2. Then, as instructed in the registration form, provide your basic information, extra information, and contact information.
  3. After that, provide a scanned copy of your signature and passport-size photo.
  4. Retain the registration number and password for the application process and submit the registration form.
  5. Use your registration number and password to log in once again.
  6. Then click on "Apply" after finding the link for the "Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator Examination 2023" under the "Latest Notification" tab.
  7. The application form will already have some of the candidates' information from the registration form. After choosing their preferred centre, applicants must fill out the remaining fields regarding their schooling, highest degree earned, etc.
  8. Examine and confirm the data on the application form.
  9. Payment of the application fees
  10. Send in the form and keep a hard copy for future use.

JHT 2023 Notifications

The SSC JHT 2023–24 calendar has been made available. On August 22, 2023, the notification will be made available. The application form must be submitted before September 12, 2023. The test will be given in October and November of 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for JHT

Before registering for the exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements. Age and nationality are consistent throughout all postcodes, except for the educational background. The level of schooling varies depending on the postcode.

Age barrier

The age range is between 18 and 30. Candidates from the reserved category will have the upper age limit relaxed.

Educational prerequisites 

Post A to D

A postgraduate diploma from a university with government approval and a diploma or certificate in Hindi to English and vice versa translation from a recognised institute, or two years of experience in Hindi to English translation and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including organizations run by the Government of India.

Post E

A postgraduate degree from an institution recognised by the government, a diploma or certificate in Hindi to English translation, or three years of experience in Hindi to English translation at a state or federal government office, including one run by the government of India.
