JKPSC stands for Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission. It is a constitutional body established under Article 320 of the Constitution of India. The main function of JKPSC is to conduct examinations for recruitment to various posts in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and to advise the state government on matters related to the recruitment and appointment of individuals to the state's civil services.
History of JKPSC
JKPSC was established in 1957, soon after the state of Jammu and Kashmir was formed. The Commission was set up to ensure that the recruitment and appointment of individuals to the state's civil services were conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and to provide a system of checks and balances to prevent any abuse of power.Eligibility Criteria for JKPSC Examinations
