The full form of JSSC is "Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission." It is a Jharkhand-specific state selection commission. This commission is led by a chairwoman and two representatives from other government departments. The task of recruiting candidates to fill unfilled posts in government organizations falls into the JSSC 2021 Exam.

JSSC Eligibility Criteria (General)

  1. Educational level

Candidates applying must have graduated from a Jharkhand-based institution of higher learning with a matriculation (or 10th class) and intermediate (or 10 + 2 class) diploma. They must be familiar with the surroundings, language, and customs of the area.

Eligibility Criteria for Other Posts

  • Lower division clerk: The candidates ought to have finished high school. On a computer, they should be able to type in Hindi at a rate of 25 wpm.
  • Panchayat secretary: Candidates must be 12th-grade graduates. They ought to have solid computer skills.
  • Stenographer: The candidates ought to have finished high school. They should be capable of typing at 30 wpm.

Note: For these positions, the minimum age requirement is 18, whereas the upper age limit is 40 for the positions below.

How to Apply for JSSC Recruitment?

Step 7: Submit a passport-size photo, a signature, and the caste/special reserved certificate in a document or image format after filling out all the personal information.

Step 8: It will now be pointed toward the payment slab. To pay for the application, choose a payment method that is convenient to you.

Step 9: Submit the application form after paying the cost to complete the application process.

JSSC CGL Selection Process

Written test

Prior to the written exam, applicants who have applied for JSSC recruitment must download their specific admission cards. The admit card will include the test date and time.

Based on their performance on the written exams, the candidates would be chosen for an interview. For the job interviews, the shortlisted candidates may be contacted.

The Jharkhand government has a two-stage hiring process for posts like Assistant Bureau officer, Block supply officer, Block welfare officer, Zone inspector, Cooperative extension head, Planning assistant, and Block panchayat raj officer.

Selection Procedures for JSSC CGL Recruitment

PHASE 1: Preliminary round

The initial test is taken online. The tests are usually of general knowledge and mental aptitude. The question paper is offered in Hindi and English languages. This exam requires a basic understanding of the state of Jharkhand.

PHASE 2: Core Examination

Candidates are qualified to take the main exam if they pass the preliminary exam.
