Karnataka State Entrance Exam: What Is It?

Karnataka Examination Authority administers the state-level entrance test known as the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or KCET (KEA). This entrance exam is held in order to grant qualified applicants admission to various undergraduate programs in Karnataka. The test is also referred to as the Karnataka CET, Kar CET, or K-CET.

How do Comedk and KCET differ from one another?

Both tests have roughly the same exam format (60 questions in 70 minutes), although they have different degrees of difficulty. However, KCET has slightly stricter exam requirements and a higher level of difficulty than COMEDK.

Is KEA just for students in Karnataka?

In 1984, the CET was first launched. More than 1 million pupils take this test each year. Students from Karnataka are the only ones eligible to take this common entrance exam.
