KSET is short for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test.
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test, or KSET, is an exam conducted by the University of Mysore for the post of lecturer or assistant professor. However, the exam is only applicable to candidates who appear for the state of Karnataka.
The University Grants Commission recognises the KSET as a nodal agency, and the exam is conducted adhering to the strict rules established by the UGC.
