A four-year Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (BA/BAEd) degree in any two elective/honours/optional subjects from a college or university approved by the National Council for the Teaching of English is required for the position of TGT in the arts.
Candidates must earn a C+ or better in English, Odia, Hindi, and Sanskrit, as well as in History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, the Indian Economy, and Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, and Indian Polity. You need a BA in Telugu or another art form and a B.Ed with a minimum of 50% to work as a classical teacher in Telugu.
Expert in Teaching the Classical Language of Sanskrit
A bachelor's degree with Sanskrit as an honours/elective/optional subject and a Siksha Shastri (Sanskrit) degree from a recognised university.
