  1. Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test administered by the Indian government. Being a PRT or primary teacher requires passing the exam, most generally referred to as the CTET.
  2. The ability to teach in both Hindi and English. The teacher must interact with the students in the language that they are most comfortable with. For instance, many students need help comprehending Hindi. In contrast, many students need help understanding English.
