  2. Time, Continuity, and Change: Explores how the past, present, and future are interconnected and how they influence one another.
  3. People, Places, and Environment: Studies the relationships among people, their physical surroundings, and the impact they have on one another.
  4. Individual Development and Identity: Examines the process of personal growth and the development of one's own identity, including factors such as family, gender, ethnicity, and personal experiences.
  5. Individuals, Groups, and Institutions: Studies the ways in which individuals interact with groups and institutions, including the roles and responsibilities of individuals and groups within society. 
  6. Power, Authority, and Governance: Explores the different forms of power and authority in society and the ways in which they are used to govern and regulate human behavior.
  7. Production, Distribution, and Consumption: Studies the ways in which goods and services are produced, distributed, and consumed, and the impact this has on individuals, groups, and societies. 
  8. Science, Technology, and Society: Explores the relationships between science, technology, and society, including the impact of scientific and technological advancements on society.
  9. Global Connections: Examines the interconnectedness of the world's people, places, and environments, and the impact this has on individuals, groups, and societies. 
  10. Civic Ideals and Practices: Studies the values, beliefs, and practices that are central to responsible citizenship and the role of the individual in promoting the common good. 

These themes are meant to provide a framework for the study of Social Studies and to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded education in the field.
