
TAT is the National level examination conducted all over India. The motive of this examination is to improve the quality of education and enlighten the future of students through quality education.
TAT exams are of two phases, section-1 and Section - 2.
Every year various vacancies are released for the TAT examination. Whenever vacancies are available in that particular state then candidates can apply for the same.
TAT consists of five compulsory papers in section -1. In section -2 two compulsory papers need to attend to by the candidate.
This examination is conducted under the right of children to free and compulsory education act 2009. After Qualifying for the TAT examination candidate will eligible for the post of High school Teacher. Merit is also another factor for getting selection.
After Qualifying TAT examination candidate becomes eligible for applying to CBSE-affiliated schools. They have various possibilities in the schools like NVS, Army schools, KVS, etc for the class first to eight.

The section -1 examination consists of 100 marks. That will help to analyze teaching skills and the ability to make the students comprehend the topics.
Section -2 conducts also consists of 100 marks. This examination is conducted for high school teachers for classes 9, 10,11, and 12 as well. Candidates are selected according to their qualifications for different standards.
Candidates must have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the TAT exam which are mentioned below:
For Getting the post of Teacher in Goverment schools. It is necessary for qualifying TAT examination. The candidate who wants to apply for class Ninth and Tenth must have completed a Graduation and BEd degree. Also, candidates can apply after completion of graduation + BEd degree. After completion of the Master, they will be eligible for teaching 10th and 12th standards. The BEd is compulsory for sitting in the TAT examination.
The minimum age limit of the candidate is 18 years. However, the maximum age limit for the candidate is 35 years.
Note: Age relaxation is generally given to the reserved category candidates.
This examination is conducted in Pen and Paper mode.
In Section 1, a total of 100 marks questions were asked during the exam. The Major portion of section- 1 is divided into the following stage i.e General Knowledge, Teacher Aptitude, Local Reasoning, English Language, etc.
In Section -2 The number marks will remain the same as in Section- 1. The syllabus of the examination is as follows: the Main Subject of the Candidate and the Method of study. The Main Subject of the candidate is 80 marks where as the Method of study is 20 marks.
Candidates have to follow time table and routine to qualify for the examination. The previous year's question analysis will go to help a lot during the examination.
Candidate should target the repeated topics and questions first. Most specifically, the candidate needs to be consistent during the preparation.
