All 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have a total of 17,385 seats available, which is a small increase over the 16,598 seats available in the IITs last year.-

25 New Branches And 787 Additional Seats

Admission to 23 IITs will be provided on 17385 seats (including supernumerary seats) this year, along with 23954 seats from NITs, 7746 seats from IIIT, and 8067 seats from GFTI. In contrast, admission was offered to 16598 IIT seats, 23994 NIT seats, 7126 IIIT seats, and 6759 GFTI seats last year. In other words, there are now 787 more IIT seats, 620 more IIIT seats, and 1308 more GFTI seats this year. In total, 2675 seats are more this year.
