NTA Update Steps to Overcome Aadhaar Card Name Mismatch Issue
NTA has made slight modifications to the online application form to assist candidates in completing it without any obstacles.
If any candidates receive the following message/Pop-up after selecting “Confirm Name as per Aadhaar," candidates should close the box.

JEE Main Session 1
: In the January 2024 session, 8,24,945 male students registered, while 4,06,920 female students signed up. There were also 9 third-gender students who registered for this session.
JEE Main Session 2
: For the April 2024 session, 8,06,045 male students registered, alongside 3,73,515 female students. Additionally, 9 third-gender students registered for this session as well.
Category-Wise JEE Main Registration in 2024
Every year, NTA extends the opportunity to register and appear for the Joint Entrance Examination, or JEE Mains, to the students belonging to reserved as well as non-reserved categories. Session 1 (January)
: In the first session, 4, 16,086 students from the general category, 1,54,840 students from the EWS and 4,98,179 students from the OBC-NCL category registered. Furthermore, around 1,21,394 students from SC and 41,375 students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category registered for the January session of JEE Mains.
Session 2 (April)
: The JEE Main April session 2024 recorded a slight increase in general category numbers, with 4,19,114 students registering up. The EWS category had 1,42,564 students, while 4,58,782 students from the OBC-NCL registered. For the SC and ST categories, 1,17,778 and 41,331 students registered, respectively.
Last 5 Years JEE Main Registrations Analysis
