JEE Main 2026 Session-1 exam is over. Session-2 will be conducted from 1–10 April 2026 by NTA across India and select international centres. JEE Main Exam Date 2026: The JEE Main 2026 Session-1 exam is over, which was conducted from 21 to 29 January 2026. Session-2 is scheduled from 1st to 10th April 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the city intimation slips and admit cards on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, 3 days before the exam.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily, with Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) lasting approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Candidates must follow the schedule carefully and reach their allotted centres on time. After the exam, the provisional answer key for Session-2 will be released, and results will determine eligibility for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and JEE Advanced.

JEE Main Exam Date Revised Session-1

The JEE Main 2026 exam dates remain as originally announced. There is no change or revision in the schedule. Earlier, NTA had announced via a public notice on October 31, 2025, that JEE Main 2026 Session 1 would be conducted between January 21 to 30. While specific dates were to be notified later, NTA has now confirmed the schedule:

  • Paper 1 (BE/BTech): January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, 2026

  • Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning): January 29, 2026

These dates fall within the originally announced window, so there is no revision of exam dates.

Any confusion arose from misreading the earlier notice. Students are advised to rely only on the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for accurate information.

The registration process for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 began on 31 October 2025 and concluded on 27 November 2025. Eligible candidates were able to submit their application forms online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, with the last date for fee payment also being 27 November 2025.
