Grading System for AS and A Levels

Both AS and A Level subjects are graded separately, without calculating a cumulative GPA. Option 3: Take all A Level exams at once at the end of the two-year program. This approach covers the entire syllabus over two years and is suitable for students confident in managing all assessments together.

Cambridge AICE Diploma and Credit System

Cambridge AS and A Level students can also pursue the Cambridge AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) Diploma, an additional group qualification that recognizes students’ achievements across a broad range of subjects. To earn the AICE Diploma, students must complete a minimum of seven credits drawn from three curriculum areas: Mathematics and Science, Languages, and Arts and Humanities. In this credit system:

Each AS Level course counts as one credit.
Each full A Level course counts as two credits.

Since 2017, the AS Level in Global Perspectives and Research has been a compulsory subject for the AICE Diploma.
