Before the Exam

• Wake up early and have a healthy breakfast
• Reach the exam center well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush
• Carry your IPMAT admit card and a valid photo ID proof
• Avoid carrying prohibited items like electronic devices, stationery, etc.
• Carry your own water bottle and snacks if needed

At the Exam Center

• Follow all COVID-19 safety protocols like wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing
• Occupy your designated seat as per the seating plan
• Read the exam instructions carefully before attempting the questions
• Use the rough sheets provided by the invigilator for rough work
• Maintain silence and do not indulge in any unfair means during the exam

During the Exam

• If you find a question difficult, move on to the next one and come back to it later if time permits

Required Documents for IPMAT 2025

1. IPMAT Admit Card : The admit card is the most important document you must carry to the exam center. It contains your personal details, exam center information, and other crucial details. Make sure to download and print your admit card well in advance.
2. Valid Photo ID : You must carry a valid photo ID proof, such as a government-issued ID card, Aadhaar card, or passport. The name on the ID proof must match the name mentioned on your admit card.
3. Passport-size Photographs : Carry recent passport-size photographs, as you may be required to affix them on the attendance sheet or other documents at the exam center.
4. Pen and Pencil : Bring a blue/black ball-point pen and a pencil for rough work. Avoid using gel pens or ink pens, as they may not be allowed inside the exam hall.

Prohibited Items for IPMAT 2025

1. Electronic Devices : Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying any electronic devices, such as mobile phones, smartwatches, fitness trackers, or Bluetooth-enabled devices, inside the exam center. These items will be confiscated if found in possession.
2. Stationery Items : Avoid carrying any stationery items other than a pen and pencil. Items like highlighters, correction fluid, rulers, and calculators are not allowed inside the exam hall.
3. Bags and Luggage : Large bags, luggage, and purses are not permitted inside the exam center. You may carry a small transparent pouch to store your admit card, ID proof, and stationery items.
4. Food and Beverages : Carrying food and beverages, except for bottled water, is not allowed inside the exam hall. Make sure to consume your food before entering the exam center.
