IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit, Qualification and Other Details

IPMAT Eligibility criteria 2025  are the requirements candidates must meet to take the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) and Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak). Only candidates who meet the IPMAT eligibility criteria will have their application forms accepted during the ongoing registration process.

Educational Qualifications

A candidate must fulfill below criteria:

IPMAT Indore:

• Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
• Candidate should have passed standard X/ SSC.

• Candidates must have passed their qualifying examinations in the years 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025. Those in the final year of Class 12 or awaiting results can apply provisionally.
• General and NC-OBC Categories: A minimum aggregate score of 60% in both Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent CGPA).
• SC/ST/PwD Categories: A minimum aggregate score of 55% in both Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent CGPA).

Candidates must ensure that the percentage obtained is calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects mentioned in their mark sheets. If grades or CGPA are awarded, they must be converted into a percentage according to the certified procedure by the respective board .

Age Limit

The age limit requirement is as follows:

IPMAT Indore:

• General/NC-OBC Candidates: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2005.
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2000.

IPMAT Rohtak:

• Candidates should be under 20 years of age as of June 30, 2025.

IPMAT 2025 Minimum Marks Criteria

JIPMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya

• Candidates should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025.
• Candidates must have passed Standard X/SSC or equivalent examination in the year 2021 or later.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 60% in Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category).
• There is no specific age limit for JIPMAT 2025.

IPMAT 2025 Selection Process

• First IPMAT 2025 exam will be conducted by respective IIMs.
• After the IPMAT exam results are announced, some candidates will be selected for the counseling process.
• The counseling process may vary for each institute, so candidates should check the official website of the institute for specific dates and details.
• During counseling, candidates need to bring important documents, such as:
  • Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Candidates will participate in group discussions and personal interviews.
• The final selection will be based on performance in the IPMAT 2025 exam, group discussions, and personal interviews.
• IIMs have reserved seats for different categories. To use a reservation, candidates must provide valid documents approved by the right authority to confirm their eligibility.
