Haryana ADA Notification 2025 was released on 8th August 2025 on the official website by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) for recruitment to 255 posts of Assistant District Attorney (Group-B) in the Prosecution Department, Haryana. The online application process was conducted from 13th August 2025 to 2nd September 2025.
Earlier, the Haryana ADA Preliminary Examination was scheduled for 2nd November 2025. However, due to legal proceedings related to the recruitment syllabus and selection process, the examination process was revised following directions issued by the Hon’ble High Court.
As per the latest HPSC announcement dated 12 May 2026, the recruitment will now be conducted through a three-phase selection process consisting of:

Haryana ADA Notification 2025 Selection Process
As per the latest HPSC notification and revised recruitment procedure, the Haryana Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Selection Process consists of the following stages:
1. Screening Test: Candidates will first appear for a Screening Test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. A minimum of 50% questions will be from Law subjects, while the remaining questions will be from General Studies topics. This stage is qualifying in nature.
2. Subject Knowledge Test: Candidates shortlisted from the Screening Test will be called for the Subject Knowledge Test. This stage evaluates candidates’ understanding of legal subjects and professional knowledge related to the Assistant District Attorney post.
