Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam 2025: The HPPSC has announced vacancies for 21 Civil Judge positions. If you're interested and meet the qualifications for the Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam 2025, you can apply online through the HPPSC website by January 05, 2025. The recruitment process includes a prelims exam, a main exam, and an interview. The prelims exam consists of three papers, each with 100 marks, covering Criminal Law, Civil Law I, and Civil Law II.
The exam will last one hour per paper and will be held in Dharamshala (Kangra), Mandi, Shimla. Candidates who pass the prelims can proceed to the main exam, which consists of five descriptive papers covering Hindi Language, English Composition, Criminal Law, Civil Law I, and Civil Law II. Each paper lasts for three hours and takes place in Shimla. Those who pass the main exam will be invited to the interview, where their general knowledge, intellect, personality, and suitability for the Civil Judge position will be evaluated.

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has officially announced the dates for the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service (Main) Examination-2024, which is scheduled to be held from 15th July 2025 to 19th July 2025 in Shimla. As per the press note dated 28th May 2025, the exam will be conducted over five days, covering key subjects including Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II, Criminal Law, English Composition, and Hindi Language. Each paper will be held from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
