Jammu and Kashmir Judiciary Educational Qualification

As per the official notification, the Jammu and Kashmir Judiciary Eligibility 2025 mandates the following educational qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university established by law in India;

or

  • A Barrister of England or Northern Ireland; 

or

  • A member of the Faculty of Advocates in Scotland; 

or

  • Any other equivalent law degree recognised by the Government of India.

Candidates must possess the required academic qualification as of the cut-off date: 18th June 2025.

Jammu and Kashmir Judiciary Age Limit

As per the official notification, the Jammu and Kashmir Judiciary Age Limit is clearly defined:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 35 years

(Age will be reckoned as of 1st January 2025)
