Minimum 7 years of experience in legal affairs in the Central Government.

Qualified Legal Practitioner (Advocate/Pleader) of not less than 30 years of age with at least 7 years of active legal practice.
For Law Officer (Land and Building Dept, GNCTD):
Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institute or university.
AND at least 2 years of experience in legal work as an active Legal Practitioner OR 2 years of legal work experience in a Government office.
Assistant Legislative Counsel:
UR / EWS Upper Age Limit: 40 Years
OBC Upper Age Limit: 43 Years
SC Upper Age Limit: 45 Years
Law Officer:
UR Upper Age Limit: 30 Years
OBC (Delhi) Upper Age Limit: 33 Years
