To apply for the West Bengal vacancy 2025, you must:
Have a law degree from a recognised university.
Be registered as a lawyer under the Advocates Act, 1961.
Be able to read, write and speak Bengali (this rule does not apply if you are a Nepali-speaking person from certain hill areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong).
Be 23 to 35 years old on the cut-off date. Some categories get extra age relaxation:
SC/ST: +5 years
OBC-A/OBC-B: +3 years
PwBD: +10 years
Be an Indian citizen.
Be in good health and have no serious criminal record.
