Along with the revised AIL LET Exam Pattern 2025, the Tie-Breaking Method has also been modified. According to it, if two candidates have scored the same marks in the AIL LET 2025 exam, the following process will be considered while preparing the merit list.- The candidate with higher marks in class 12th will be given priority.
- If the tie persists, candidates of higher age will be given preference.

The following are some preparation tips for the AIL LET 2025 entrance exam.- The current affairs and general knowledge section comprises questions based on the recent significant news related to national and international affairs. Read newspapers regularly, like "The Hindu" or "Indian Express" to stay updated. Note down details and facts of significant news that you think may be asked in the exam.
- To maximize your scores in the English Comprehension Section, focus on vocabulary and grammar. For vocab, you can refer to "Word Made Easy" by Norman Lewis, and to brush up your grammar knowledge, you can read "Wren & Martin."
- Practice MCQs based mental ability and decision-making. Also, understand the logical statements and data by improving vocabulary and elementary mathematics. Practice questions to understand the patterns, series and analogies.

What are the requirements for Army Institute of law?
A candidate who has passed the 10+2 examination from the Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognized as such by the Punjabi University, Patiala, securing at least 45% marks are eligible to appear for the exam.
How many subjects are there in the AIL LET?
As per the AIL LET exam pattern, the total number of sections is 4 which includes General Awareness, English Comprehension, Law Aptitude, and Mental Ability. The paper does not include descriptive sections.
How many seats for general category in AIL LET?
For the general category candidates, the total number of seats in the AIL LET Exam is 5, while the remaining seats 75 seats are for Wards of Army Personnel.
What is tie-breaking method?
The tie-breaking method is applicable when two candidates have secured the same marks. In such cases, the merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in 10+2. The candidate with higher marks in class 12th will be given priority. If the tie persists, candidates of higher age will be given preference.
