  • General/KM: Rs. 30,000
  • ST/SC/OBC/EWS/PwD categories: Rs. 20,000

The counselling fee must be paid before the specified deadline, using digital payment methods such as credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking. Payments via other modes will not be accepted.

2. Document Verification: Candidates will be required to upload essential documents for verification during the counselling process. These documents may include:
  • Mark sheets of Class 10 and Class 12.
  • Category certificate (if applicable).

Candidates must ensure that the documents are self-attested and in the correct format (usually PDF).

3. Provisional Admission Confirmation: Upon successful registration and document verification, candidates listed in the second merit list must pay the Provisional Admission Confirmation Fee: Rs. 50,000 for all candidates.

This fee will be adjusted against the total fee payable, and the balance must be paid by April 30, 2025. Candidates will also need to download the provisional admission offer letter from their AILET account and sign it to confirm their acceptance.

Candidates must accept the seat allotment by paying the necessary fees and following the instructions from NLU Delhi.

What if Your Name Doesn’t Appear on the AILET 2025 Second Merit List?

If your name does not appear on the second merit list of AILET 2025, it means you have not been selected for admission in the second round of seat allocation. However, candidates still have a few options:

  • Wait for the Third or Fourth Merit List: There may be additional rounds of merit lists if there are vacant seats. Candidates are advised to regularly check the NLU Delhi website for updates regarding the third and fourth merit lists.
  • Consider Reapplying for Future Years: If you do not secure a seat in any of the merit lists, you can consider reappearing for AILET in future years. It is important to understand the reasons for not being selected (such as lower marks or rank) and work towards improving your performance for the next attempt.
  • Explore Other Law Colleges: In case you do not secure admission to NLU Delhi, consider applying to other top law schools in India that conduct their own entrance exams or accept AILET scores.
