CLAT Exam Centres 2026 will be announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) along with the CLAT official notification 2026. It is expected that CLAT 2026 will be held across more than 139 cities in India, including states and UTs. Candidates have to select a maximum of 3 exam centres for CLAT, and based on the availability of seats, centres will be allotted to them. It is advisable to select a centre that is easily accessible to avoid travel-related issues on exam day. CALT admit card will have all the details of the CLAT exam centres 2026.
Based on the previous year’s CLAT exam schedule, the following statistics are provided below. Candidates should arrive at their assigned centre by 1:00 PM, take their seats by 1:30 PM, and note that entry will not be allowed after 2:15 PM. The exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in offline mode. All candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID for verification. The official schedule and detailed centre information will be released with the admit cards in November 2025.

Register and create your account by providing personal details.
During the application form process, enter your three preferred exam centre cities in order of preference.
Complete the rest of the application, including NLU preferences and fee payment, then submit the form.
Your exam centre preferences have now been submitted successfully.
If needed, use the online window (when available) to edit your centre preferences before the deadline.
The allotted centre will be mentioned on your admit card, which must be carried to the exam along with a valid photo ID.

Strict adherence to reporting times, permitted items, and all guidelines issued by centre officials is essential for participation in the exam. Here are some important instructions for CLAT exam centres 2026.
Bring your CLAT admit card (printed in colour and not altered) and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, PAN card, etc.) for verification. Without these, entry will be denied.
Reach the exam centre at least an hour before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be allowed entry after the designated cut-off.
Wear simple, comfortable clothing and avoid unnecessary jewellery.
Maintain discipline and do not communicate with other candidates during the exam.
Only bring permitted stationery (HB pencil, black/blue pens), a transparent water bottle, and two passport-sized photographs if required.
Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, bags, books, notes, or any unauthorized materials into the exam hall.
