List of Law Colleges for Admission in India, Know about Colleges Accepting Low Score

Law Colleges for Admission in India: The results for CLAT 2024 were announced on December 10, 2023. To do well and get into the best law colleges, it's good to score between 80 and 90 or more in CLAT. But, if someone doesn't score that high, they can still get into law programs. That's because, besides the main 23 law colleges, there are also many private colleges in CLAT 2024.

In these private colleges, there's a better chance of getting admitted even if the CLAT score is not very high compared to the top law colleges. If the CLAT score is low, candidates can also think about trying other law entrance exams in India.

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) - Overview

The CLAT exam happens once a year in December, and it's done with pen and paper. Right now, there are about 131 places all over the country where the CLAT exam takes place. Around 52,000 students are expected to have taken the CLAT 2024 exam. Because there are so many students and the National Law Universities (NLUs) taking part are well-known, this exam is one of the toughest in the country. The CLAT 2024 question paper was made based on a new pattern. It had 120 questions split into five parts. The whole paper was worth 120 marks. Each correct answer got one mark, but for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks were taken off. The questions were in English.
