NLU Delhi Issues AILET 2025 Admission Withdrawal Notification: On 28 May 2025, the National Law University (NLU), Delhi issued an official notification regarding the AILET admission 2025 on its official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates who have secured provisional admission into the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM programs can now opt to withdraw their admission. For LLM, NLU Delhi has already conducted 2 rounds of AILET counselling. AILET 2025 was conducted on 8 December 2024 for admission to UG and PG programs.

Last Date to Withdraw AILET Admission 2025

The National Law University, Delhi, has not mentioned any deadline for the withdrawal of AILET 2025 admissions. However, it is advised that interested candidates must do so as soon as possible to avoid last-minute chaos. Once the authorities announce the last date, candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions. 

How to Withdraw AILET 2025 Admission?

Candidates who have been provisionally given admission to UG and PG courses at the university can only apply for withdrawal of admission. The following steps can be followed to exercise that option. 

  • Go to the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Using your registered email ID and password, log in to your account.
  • Select the exit option and submit your request to withdraw your AILET admission. 
  • Your request for AILET admission withdrawal is then processed. 

Important Instructions for Candidates To Withdraw AILET Admission 2025

Candidates who want to exercise the option of withdrawing from AILET admission 2025 for UG and PG courses must be aware of the following important points. 

  • Candidates can only apply for the withdrawal of their AILET admission 2025 from their registered AILET accounts. No other means will be accepted. 
  • Once the candidates have opted to withdraw from their AILET 2025 admissions, they will not be considered for further rounds of admission to law courses.
  • The seat left vacant after the withdrawal of the AILET seat from candidates will be offered to the next eligible candidates based on the AILET 2025 merit list.  
  • The fee refund will be processed immediately after the withdrawal option has been exercised. The refund will be made to the same bank account from which the fee was paid.

AILET Merit List 2025

The AILET Merit List 2025 is released by National Law University Delhi, listing candidates provisionally selected for admission to its law programs based on their performance in the entrance exam and counseling process. The first merit list was published on 27 December 2024, followed by subsequent lists to fill any remaining seats. Candidates whose names appear on these lists must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the specified deadlines. The merit list is released separately for undergraduate and postgraduate programs and is accessible on the official NLU Delhi website in PDF format. 

AILET 2026

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 is a national-level exam conducted by the National Law University Delhi for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral law programs. AILET assesses candidates on English, logical reasoning, general knowledge, and legal aptitude. The exam is conducted offline once a year. Detailed notifications, application dates, and eligibility criteria will be released by NLU Delhi on its official website, probably in August 2025.
