The PUCET Law 2025 application process is conducted entirely online through the official Panjab University portals at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. for both the 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated law programs. Candidates must first register on the website by providing basic details such as name, email ID, and educational qualifications, after which they receive a login ID and password. Once registered, applicants need to fill in personal, academic, and contact information, upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature, and pay the application fee online or via SBI e-challan. The completed application form, along with all required documents, must be submitted by 8 June 2025 for the 3-year LLB program.
Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to secure admission to 3-year law programs at the university.
The PUCET Law 2025 exam for both the 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated law programs will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The question paper covers sections such as English Language, Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Reasoning Ability. Each correct answer will get 1 mark, and a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response. Candidates can choose to attempt the exam in English, Hindi, or Punjabi, though certain sections may be available only in English.

The result will display essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, scores, rank, and qualifying status. The merit list will be published based on the entrance exam and qualifying exam scores. After the declaration of results and publication of the merit list, shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in the PUCET counselling, which is conducted in offline mode at the university. Panjab University comprises a total of 480 seats distributed across four affiliated law colleges for 3-year LLB programs. The Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, offers the largest share with 300 seats, while the regional centres at Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, and Muktsar each have 60 seats available.
